Sales tax

Sales tax on goods is federal; sales tax on services belongs to the province where the service is provided. Many businesses owe both, every month. We file them all.

What we handle

Monthly returns built from your sales and purchase records, with input tax matched against your suppliers’ filings before it’s claimed, and the payment made on time.

FBR
Federal sales tax on goods: the monthly return, with its annexes of sales and purchases.
SRB
Sindh sales tax on services.
PRA
Punjab sales tax on services.
KPRA
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa sales tax on services.
BRA
Balochistan sales tax on services.
Islamabad
Sales tax on services in the Islamabad Capital Territory.

Who it’s for

Manufacturers, importers, distributors and retailers registered for sales tax with the FBR; service providers registered with a provincial authority; and businesses that are both, or that provide services in more than one province.

Not sure whether you need to register, or in which province? That depends on what you sell and where. Ask us before your first invoice; it’s easier than correcting it later.

How it works

  1. Your records

Each month you upload sales and purchase invoices, or the export from your accounting system.

  2. Reconciliation

We match purchases against suppliers’ filings, work out tax payable, and send you the figure and the payment details.

  3. Review & filing

After a second review we file the return and send you the acknowledgement with a copy.

Registration

If you’re not yet registered, we handle sales tax registration with the FBR and registration with the provincial authority, then take over your monthly filings from the first period.

A return to file, a registration to make, or a notice to answer: we’ll explain what’s involved and what it costs before any work starts.
